Adult Fellowship & Service Ministries.....

Trinity hosts a wide variety of Fellowship and Servant-focused Ministry Groups, which encourage parishioners and friends to nurture friendships, create mutually supportive relationships, and share the compassionate care of the Church with our neighbors.

Meals to Heal Ministry Team...

Members of the "Meals to Heal Ministry Team" prepare and deliver a nice nutritious dinner to the homes of families as they welcome a newborn and to other parishioners as they return home following an in-patient hospital stay.  It's our Trinity-way of sharing not only a helpful meal, but of extending a sign of our joy and compassion and concern for fellow members of the Trinity parish family.

Free Community Dinner Ministry Team...

Trinity is proud to serve as the Weekly Host and Coordinating Congregation of the Free Community Dinner, which serves a hot dinner to friends or neighbors, every Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm.  Intended especially to address the needs of those with limited resources, we've been serving an average of 75-80 people each week since September of 2009.  We're also blessed to have been joined in this ministry by members of our Ecumenical Community from St Thomas Roman Catholic Church, St John's UCC, The Bedford Church of the Brethren, The Bedford United Methodist Church, The Bedford County Christian Church, and The Bedford Presbyterian Church.  Betsy Littlefield serves as the coordinator of Trinity's cooks and servers.

Women of Trinity…

The women of the congregation typically meet one Thursday evening each month (September - May) and enjoy a variety of enjoyable and often informational activities together. They also host a "Tea" each Spring.  Linda McElroy is the coordinator of this group.

"Chicks with Sticks" (A Knitting & Crocheting Ministry)...

Parishioners and friends who enjoy knitting as well as those who are interested in learning the craft gather together (usually a couple of Thursday evenings each month) to share encouragement and ideas with each other.  Needles, hooks, and other starting-needs are available for those who would be interested in trying things out before making a serious commitment.  Mary Ann Martz is the coordinator of this group.

Trinity Hikers...
We are blessed to live in an area that displays its beauty everywhere that you look. We are also fortunate to have some great hiking trails all around us. So, every few months we lace up our boots and enjoy the beauty of creation as we try out a new trail together.

Sewing Ministry...
From 1:00-4:00 pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month, parishioners and friends bring their sewing machines and gather in Trinity's Social Room to create decorated pillow cases for kids at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh and lap quilts for adult and children cancer patients at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  Doris Caldwell coordinates this group.  Contact the church office for more information.

Trinity Book Club...

Parishioners and friends gather monthly to read and discuss books with significant spiritual, devotional, or theological themes.  The Book Club meets monthly.  Pat Macchiarolo is the coordinator of the Book Club.

Young Adult Fellowship...

Younger Adult Singles and Couples gather every few months for a time of fellowship and refreshments.  Usually we gather together at the home of a generous host but occasionally we plan outings such as family bowling and picnicking. Regardless of where we meet, it is always a relaxed and enjoyable time to be together in the very best of company. Most often we meet on a Friday or Saturday evening.  Contact Pastor Weinhold about this ministry group.

Adult Nite Out Fellowship...

Adult Nite Out Fellowship events are coordinated, usually on a Friday or Saturday evening.  We get together about 4 times a year to encourage parishioners and friends to spend a casual and relaxing evening together over dinner.  We visit local, as well as regional restaurants, and occasionally gather at the home of a host.  Contact Pastor Short about this ministry group.

Senior Adult Ministry...

This Senior Adult Ministry Group gathers for lunch several times a year. We meet together at various restaurants and locations around the community to enjoy a time of food and fellowship together. Contact Pastor Short about this ministry group.
