Trinity Joins the NALC!
On Sunday, June 14, 2020 parishioners of Trinity voted overwhelmingly to leave the ELCA and join the NALC.
This was the second of two required congregational votes and ushers Trinity into a new day of ministry as a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church.
The NALC is a growing Christian Church in the Lutheran Tradition which unites Lutherans in congregations across North America.
The NALC embodies the theological center and stands firmly within the global Lutheran mainstream.
The NALC is centered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grounded in the 2,000 year tradition of the the Christian faith, and focused on living out Christ’s Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28).
This action, taken after 10+ months of study, prayer, and discernment terminates Trinity’s membership in the ELCA.
We wish to thank the members of this congregation for their trust and support of leadership throughout this very long process and for their commitment to maintaining a faithful, compassionate, and lively ministry here in Bedford.
